Need some space
- Friday - flip-flopped Kinsley and Eligh's rooms, then played cards too late into the early morning with neighbors.
- Saturday - hubby worked, then dyed eggs with friends.
- Sunday - we hosted Easter for two families
- Monday - couch shopping after hubby was off work
- Today - switched the toy room and living room and moved in the new couch
- I have not had a moment to myself which equals no time for blogging.

Friday Night Leftovers on Saturday
Sorry Danifred that I'm a day late. It was one of "those" evenings.
- Eligh had a follow up this week for his ear infection - he's all clear. I would like to add, though, that the nurses commenting on how skinny and bony he is, is annoying and I will snap at you next time.
- We switched the twins' rooms. Kinsley now has the larger of their two rooms, but I'm still not happy with Eligh's room layout.
- The changing table/dresser we have had for nearly five years will be leaving the house this evening. It's broken and needs to go, but all three have used it and many clothes have been stored in it as well as many booties changed on it.
- I am going to have to find a chiropractor soon. Back pain that feels like it just needs to pop back into place is keeping me up at night and having all the kiddos sit on my back and walk on my back hasn't cured it.
- I had my vein appointment this week, which requires it's own post.
- The kids (except Addy who passed out on the couch) and the hubby and I were all up until midnight last night. This.never.happens. Neighbors came over and we played some card games while the kiddos played and watched some new movies. Fun was had by all, and Eligh was so worn out he didn't wake until 9 (another first). Girls were up at the same time as always, though.
- Who is cooking Easter dinner for you?
- Since Cody is working today, we are staying here this year and invited two families over. Six adults and eight children. I'm cooking the bulk of the meal, and they are all bringing a few sides and desserts over. The kids will have a massive egg hunt after dinner and I'm super excited for the kiddos.

Talking Tuesday #13 - Stories
Twins were helping me plant our vegetable garden.
Kinsley: "Mommy, there is a bug on your back?"
Mommy: "Is there? Eligh, is there a bug on my back?"
Eligh: "Nope, no bug."
Mommy: "Kinsley, please stop telling stories. Tell the truth. It's not nice to tell stories."
Eligh: "I have stories, though."
Mommy: "Ok, but it's not nice to tell stories."
Eligh: "Yes, it is. I have a lot of stories in my room, and even my Tag Reader has stories."
Smart Ass.

What a non-stop Monday
Rundown of my Monday:
Eligh wakes up early. I get him entertained reading on my Nook.
Get ready.
Do a little research on the computer.
Girls wake up.
Get everyone dressed and teeth brushed and head down stairs.
Breakfast.
Prepare cups and grapes for the twins to take for our walk.
Drop Addy off at school.
Push twins in stroller for 2.5 miles and was begged to run to any bridge we saw (four of them).
Let twins play at a playground.
Go home to meet the cake lady to discuss Addy's birthday cake (9 more days...sigh)
Pick up Addy and her friend from school.
Prepare lunch for my three and Addy's friend.
Addy's friend's mom picks up friend.
Addy steps on Kinsley's nose.
All three take a nap.
I scarf some lunch down and head outside and end up socializing with my neighbor while all our kids nap.
Addy wakes up.
Later her up in sunscreen and put on her suit so she can play in the little pool.
Watch neighbor's 1 year old while she picks up some boys she babysits.
Twins finally wake up from nap.
Lather them up and put on their suits to join in on the water fun.
Clean up outside.
Head inside and prep a quick dinner for kids.
Cody comes home, I head to Zumba.
Some how I also completed four loads of laundry.

Pondering - Swimming Passes
If my kids have enjoyed a swimming pool two days out of the past seven, does it mean it is going to be ridiculously hot this summer? If so, we are doomed!
Speaking of swimming, do I buy a swimming pool season pass?
Last year it was free to go to any pool on base, but with budget cuts, we now have to pay. It's $10 more on base, than if we use the one off base. On base there are two pools we can use, one that is less than a minute away. The one off base has more for the kids to do, and less work for mommy and daddy as far as watching them. It will probably take 10 minutes with traffic to get there, so not long at all.
How hard is it to take three children five and under to a public swimming pool/water park on your own? If Cody is working like he is now, he may never go to the pool with us. Last year, we always went together as his schedule was very relaxed.
Or do I just pay as we go to the pool and skip the passes all together?
Stupid budget cuts making me ponder such silliness. $0 to $75 is a BIG difference on this one income family, though, and takes some thinking.
Do you all have to pay for swimming passes? If you have a pool in your backyard I don't want to hear from you, as we won't have that option for ooohh....ten more years.
