Lucky, lucky 7

7 years married as of last Saturday.  Three we have been separated by nearly 7000 miles, and four we have been together.  Life has surely changed, and so have we.


Questions and Answers:
This is to both of you: what is your favorite thing about the other?
Carrie:   His ability to have a positive attitude about any and everything.  He is what calms my quick to stress and feel overwhelmed attitude. 
Cody:  How amazing of a mother she is. 

What are your favorite seven memories through the years (and you can count each kid separately or as "one" if you'd like- I imagine that is probably up there ;)

What do you do to stay connected to one another, especially since you've spent so much time apart?
We make sure to spend our evenings together some way some how.  After the monkeys are in bed, we like to relax together, and nearly 99% of the time go to bed together.  As far as when we are apart, communication is key, and I am more of a talker than he is so it is something we work on when the situation arises.  


Also, is life today what you thought it would be, back then?
Carrie - Yes, and No.  I had hoped we would be happily married with a family, and that has indeed happened.  Did I plan on quitting my job to stay home with my children? No.  Did I plan on Cody possibly going career with the Army?  Hell no.  But, life happens and you either learn to face those challenges head on or crumple underneath.  


Cody:  Yep.  I am married to my beautiful wife, I have a job, a roof over our heads, and three amazing children.  


I'm sorry it has taken so long to get this posted, I had full intentions of doing this on Saturday, but we were visiting with family, went out to dinner, and crashed when we got home.
