Update on the tingling hand and now foot issue
Last night I was up for a solid two three hour straight contemplating how to physically saw off my hand as it felt like it had fallen asleep and no matter how I moved or manipulated my body it stayed tingling, shocking, and generally just pissing me off to the point of crying.
This afternoon's appointment did not come soon enough. I went in with high blood pressure preparing myself for battle to receive some relief and answers. The doctor, whom I had never met, was great. He looked over my records from the ER visit from hell last week and we talked about the drug pushing doctor and ruled to simply ignore his "diagnosis." After some manipulating of my hand, the doc said that I have an extreme case of carpel tunnel that has been going on for too long and is typically met with surgery. But, we are going to try steroids and an arm brace before heading down that road. The tingling in my foot that started Tuesday (departure day to IL) is "assumed" to be a herniated disc in my back which the steroid should also treat. Oh, and no more trips to the gym for now.
I have a follow up for Monday and am hopeful that these meds will treat and eliminate the pain or you will be reading about a 29 year old woman sawing off her own hand.

*Worst case scenarios:
Surgery to my hand, MRI for my back, epidural shots to the herniated disc, or a possible trip to a neurosurgeon.
**Extremely worse case scenario:
We check for MS.

The uneventful birthday
The placement of my birthday is inconvenient for most as it can fall on Thanksgiving or any day surrounding it and for a while it has simply been another day and yesterday was no exception.

Friday Night Leftovers - the not "Black Friday" edition
- A trip to the ER several tests later an unexplainable inconsiderate, drug pushing doctor and I am still experiencing tingling and as of this morning extreme pain in my one hand.
- New appointment has been made for next week.
- Yesterday I got to hold my 2.5 month old niece most of the day and when asked if I wanted to let her sleep in a chair, I of course said no. Nothing beats a sleeping baby on your shoulder. Nothing.
- I stuffed my face yesterday and will work it off next week when I get back to the gym.
- Paws did great on his first six hour road trip and has been even better with the mass amount of people, children, and my parent's dog. I'm very, very surprised and proud of him.
- Please stop by here, for an update about the situation with Sam. Things have umm...changed.
- In just a couple of hours we are getting the twins' long overdue three year pics taken. Can't wait to see what she does this year.
- Tomorrow Cody and I will be kid-free all day and night. We will be playing elves and Santa since all the stores we need to visit are over an hour away from where we live in MO, so we are taking up my mom's offer to spend the day out going to the stores that are near and enjoying a meal or two out without screaming, yelling, needy children. Plus, my birthday is in two days, so a nice early celebration will be appreciated.
- How many of you braved the crowds for the deals either last night or this morning?
- P.S. I promise to catch up on commenting next week.

Support something greater
I mentioned recently about Sam and his horrible new of ALL. Kym, his surrogate, rocks beyond words and pulled together a blog to help get the word out about this amazing little boy. I know there are some of you who are very crafty or even sell various products and maybe some time in the future you would be willing to help fundraise a portion of your proceeds to help Sam with all of his various treatments. Sam will more than likely be battling ALL for the next three to four years, so there is plenty of time for some of you to think about whether or not you could help even just a tiny little bit. There are really small things you can eve do, simply checking out his journal and posting a little comment to cheer him up, or maybe sending him a care package to make him feel a little extra special. If you are at all interested, check out the blog to find out how, and make sure to add it to your reader. But, most importantly, spread the word if you can. The more people who know, the more we can all do for him.
Again - check out the blog by clicking here.
I have had a rough couple of days, but I will be posting by the end of the week or beginning of next my Scentsy fundraiser which will be helping Sam, if even just a little.

Weekend crapshoot
There were many "highs" to our weekend including Addy spending the night a friend's house, having friends over for dinner, Addy having her friend spend the night, two visits to the gym, the indoor Christmas decorations (except lights) are up including the tree, but we were not expecting to be hit with a $600+ maintenance for Cody's truck. No, it couldn't wait, and yes, they are the cheapest and offer a lift time warranty.
Shitty ass timing, simply put. We are traveling out of town this week (extra money for that) plus, Santa's elves need to be paid to start and finish making the gifts.

Friday Night Leftovers - tingly hands
- This week I started my new migraine prevention meds, and they have been an adjustment. I'm currently waiting for the nurse to call me back, because the joints in my right hand are in some pretty intense pain (not so common) along with the constant tingly sensation (very common). Yes, bone pain is a possible side effect.
- Kinsley and Addy got to have a play date with Addy's friend from school. They won't stop asking if they can go back to her house.
- Speaking of asking, Kinsley still keeps begging to go trick or treating every.single.day.
- I took Eligh to the doctor for his eczema (just needed some cream) and left with a referral to a nutritionist as he lost a pound in a month and is already on the more than small size.
- Addy made daddy take her to dance class this week. Poor daddy had to deal with a bunch of non-stop gabbing about how wonderful their children are mommies. He's a pretty good daddy to agree to these terms.
- Did I tell you all that I got the newest iPhone? I like that I can have a conversation with it and not be a crazy person.
- Addy does not have school and daddy does not have to work today. It's a more than GREAT Friday. I hope your Friday is just as great.

This week I am thankful for:
This week I am thankful for:
- a friend who will sit in a waiting room for two hours
- three kiddos that love to hug, kiss, and say "I love you" frequently throughout the day
- a hubby who is handling bed times a couple nights a week without me just so I can have some "me" time at the gym
- receiving an early birthday gift when we don't typically even exchange gifts
- detoying the house
- blankets

Talking Tuesday #4
Addy: "Eligh pinched me!"
Eligh: "What the heck am I doing?"
Eligh picks a booger and responds, "Ewww....it's poop!"
Kinsley: "Mom, I'm not going to eat my booger any more."
These kiddos are classy.

Kinsley's Wish List
Here are the list of items on Kinsley's list that are a MUST:
These ridiculous slippers
Other than those items, she will tell you she wants what she sees on the t.v, but if you ask her she always tells you the two houses.

When nothing else matters
I could write about my Veteran's Day including a free meal, or my updated treatment plan for my migraines, Paws biting Eligh, Eligh skidding his face into the table, or a variety of mundane events. But, these things are not worth it. My heart, head, and emotions are scattered and lost searching to find the jagged edge that fits together just right to make it whole again.
Please stop over my dear, dear, dear friend's blog. This is not another "story" of a friend of a friend of a friend. Let me remind you, Kym was carrying Sam when I was carrying Addy. These two little ones are just a few weeks apart and I feel a strong yearning to support and help in any way I can. I know that I will be helping by creating a fundraiser for Sam and his family through Scentsy to help raise money. I know that my family cannot possibly give much or do much, but if I can get enough people to buy any commission I would make from sales will go directly to them which is well over what I could ever donate from our own income. Stay tuned for further details as Kym gets everything in order.
Just another reminder of how unimportant the mundane events of our lives are when so many others are going through much bigger and challenging journeys.

I am going to try and keep this up at least for the month of November, as I am not participating in the daily thankful posting on FB.
I'm thankful for
I'm thankful for

- a husband who encourages me to leave the house without the children
- A friend who will run Addy in and out of the school on cold and rainy days so I can keep the twins nice and warm

Eligh's Wish List
The lists to Santa are beginning and the halt on anything extra has begun. No more toys or "stuff" until Christmas. Here is Eligh's must haves on his list:
He has also requested a Nerf gun and some Transformers underwear, yes, underwear. And anything that is Cars, Transformers, and Thomas will do as well. This is the list for Santa, grandma's list includes grandpa building a barn for his horses (which he just started this weekend) and some fuzzy Crocs.
He doesn't want much when you look at quantity, but the price of the toys are pushing our budget, especially when you include stocking stuffers.

Cute Baby Saturday - a little lesson
I have to share this little song Addy was singing the other night while playing. I'm assuming she learned it at school and I promise when I can get her to sing it loud enough I will video it so you can hear the tune.
Don't be a bully, be a paaaal
It doesn't matter if you're a guy or a gal.
If you're blowing off steam by being mean
You're being a bully not a paaaaal.
Lesson learned, my dear, lesson learned.

Friday Night Leftovers - mom, mom, mom, mom edition
- Every day my three have asked if they could go trick-or-treating again. Yes, in 360+ days. They don't get it.
- Addy fell nearly 10 feet from a playground this week and I have many nightmares from it thinking of all that could have gone wrong.
- Kinsley is on an allergy/asthma pill daily for the next month and then we review (again).
- Twins are also taking some anticongestion meds.
- If anyone has some good health they want to send us I would be greatly appreciative of such generosity.
- This week a certain little boy will not stop shouting "Mom/Mommy" over and over again until he finds me and I answer and address him. I wanted to shout
"Shut the beep up.""That's not my name." - Kinsley has been eating and wanting to eat non-stop this week.
- I need to physically write down the kids' Xmas lists as all the ideas are in my head and I'm going to forget them. Shopping for three little ones is not an easy task, and remembering all their wants is even harder.
- We have visitors the past two weekends in row (which was fun), but I'm excited for it to be just us this weekend.

Spills
Kinsley: "Mommy, I spwilled my apple juice a wittle bit."
Mommy: "Did you clean it up?"
Kinsley: "Don't come check."
And, she sprints away to hide the evidence.
