- We had family pictures taken while home visiting. Nine grandchildren, two grandparents, and seven adults.
- I am so anxious to see these pictures. Shotguns were even pulled out.
- The six hour drive to and from my parents went really well. The older they get the easier it seems to go.
- Sunday Eligh's ear hurt, Tuesday we were at the doctor. Swimmer's ear
- It's been well over 100 all week and we can't swim. Keeping the kiddos inside is not an easy task after they just spent the past ten days swimming every.single.day.
- The problem with not swimming every single day is that the kiddos are not worn out as much and thus seem to be back to waking up at or before 7.
- I'm hoping to get the kiddos back outside and in the water this upcoming week. These kids need some outside entertainment besides this mommy 24/7.
- See what our lovely host, Danifred, is sharing this week.

No water
Today it reached up to 105 with absolutely no breeze.
Outside playing is not happening unless there is water.
Eligh has swimmer's ear.
No water for Eligh for at least four days.
No water for Eligh = no water for anyone.

Swim skin and pirates
We have been swimming every single day and we still have two more full days here. Eligh's skin is raw in spots from the chlorine, but there is no stopping him from jumping in. Addy is becoming more and more brave and does not wear her vest but for short periods of rest.
Tomorrow we are going boating for the first time - it shall be interesting.
What I really need is your creative kinds to come up with a pirate themes snack to bring to an outdoor t-ball game this week.

Friday Night Leftovers - wait, it's Friday?
- First, how is it Friday already? This week has zipped on by.
- I spent majority of the week dog sitting to dogs that as soon as you let them out bark non-stop. Kids even complained, "Mom, let the dogs in they are annoying."
- Since last Friday, Addy has had two t-ball games and another tomorrow. She is definitely improving each and every practice and game.
- I have spent the week visiting the grocery stores way too often because I kept forgetting something. I hate when this happens.
- Cleaned the house throughout the week versus on one day. I like leaving the house clean before we head out of town. How about you?
- We visited one of the pools yesterday for the first time this summer. Water was colder than we would have liked but by hour two it was refreshing.
- Today was squeeze as many appointments in before lunch (three). Me: Physical therapy - since I feel 60% better I can continue stretching at home and if the pain comes back call before it gets too bad. Cody: yearly eye exam. Kinsley: Asthma follow up - It's getting worse. She sounds winded all the time. They upped her dosage of one inhaler from 40 mg to 110 mg as well as giving her the rescue inhaler every day a couple times a day until she is no longer winded. We go back in a month.
- The kids' pediatrician is heading to Afghanistan, and today was his last day at the clinic. Seriously sad about this.
- In between and after appointments I had to get all the laundry done, everything packed (one suitcase, one body bag, laundry basket full of shoes, dog kennel, golf clubs, small cooler, kids must have "crap," etc), shopping, homework, packing the van, blah, blah, blah.
- I'm beat. And I know tomorrow morning I'll be running around like a mad woman packing the last minute crap and trying not to forget something.

Talking Tuesday - classy
Addy: "Mommy, we saw a goose. Two of them were hugging each other for a very long time and I don't know why."
Eligh: "You have a sick bed, mommy, because everyone has got sick in it."
Addy: (seeing very muscular man on tv) "He is really tough, so he can get those big muscles."
Eligh: (pushing around a small, real vacuum) "I'm classy and I know it."

Makes my Monday
Yesterday I posted about the kiddos having some very long, late, fun-filled couple of days. I prepared for a normal early morning, but was shocked when Addy was the first to come to my room at 7:30. Kinsley woke up around 7:45, and Eligh some time after 8:00 a.m.
I'll take an extra hour of sleep any day of the week, not just a Monday.
How did your Monday start off?

Commonly used attention seeking phrases
Lately my three can't get enough of the following phrases:
"Can I tell you something?"
"Guess what?"
"But, mom...."
"Can I whisper in your ear?"
What questions or phrases are your kiddos repeatedly using in your house?

And then what?
I'm finishing up my last week of my second to last class before I receive my masters degree. By the end of July I'll be done with school and I can see the end in sight. This is great, BUT now I am struggling with "and then what?"
Upon deciding to stay home with the kiddos full time for the past couple two and a half years I have had something on my plate. Living with my parents while dealing with a third deployment, moving, more moving, and then school.
I'm struggling trying to figure out what to do next. I am in my head tossing ideas back and forth, but not able to put my foot down ready to walk down a path. It is complete torture.
So....tell me something, ANYthing to entertain me.
